Job summary

As a Senior Site Architect based, you will be responsible for leading the architectural supervision and coordination of projects on-site, ensuring quality, compliance with design intent, and alignment with project timelines and regulations. You will serve as the key architectural authority at the site, representing the company to clients, contractors, and authorities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage architectural supervision for projects, ensuring execution aligns with design intent, project specifications, and local building codes.
  2. Serve as the main site-based point of contact for all architectural matters, liaising with the client, contractors, PMC, and the internal design team.
  3. Conduct routine inspections and quality reviews to monitor work progress and identify any deviations from approved designs.
  4. Ensure timely delivery of architectural packages in line with project milestones and client expectations.
  5. Review and approve architectural drawings, materials, mock-ups, and method statements, ensuring full compliance with IFC and concept drawings.
  6. Coordinate with government authorities, clients, and consultants for review and final approvals of architectural materials and finishes.
  7. Update and maintain architectural documentation, specifications, and submittal logs.
  8. Ensure compliance with employer requirements and quality management standards (QMS) throughout the construction phase.
  9. Lead architectural design coordination and review meetings on-site, ensuring alignment with other disciplines.
  10. Provide technical solutions for site issues in coordination with the design team and other relevant disciplines.
  11. Manage and track contractor submittals, ensuring they meet project standards and timelines.
  12. Oversee the architectural component of project completion, including handover, snagging, and fit-out coordination.
  13. Assist the client in the final acceptance process and support contract close-out activities.

Skills

  1. Proven experience in architectural supervision and site coordination.
  2. Strong knowledge of construction codes, regulations, and approval procedures.
  3. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Solid understanding of architectural detailing, construction materials, and finishes.
  5. Strong project management and organizational skills.
  6. Proficiency in reviewing and coordinating shop drawings and submittals.
  7. Ability to lead meetings and resolve technical issues collaboratively.
  8. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  9. Familiarity with architectural software such as AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.
  10. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  11. Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors /Masters degree in Architectural Engineering

Required Experience

10+ years of work experience in a sales/business development function.
