Position: Head of Human Resources for School
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Human Resources for our school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a strong background in HR management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with the school's mission and values
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process for all staff, including teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Manage employee relations and ensure a positive and inclusive work environment
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and training to staff as needed
- Maintain accurate records of employee information and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborate with school leadership to develop and execute strategies for employee engagement and retention
- Oversee the compensation and benefits program for all staff, ensuring competitiveness and fairness
- Handle any employee grievances or conflicts in a timely and professional manner
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR management and make recommendations for improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience with HR software and systems preferred
