Position: Baker Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a wide variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and a creative flair for developing new and exciting recipes. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts - Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality of products - Monitor oven temperatures and adjust as needed for optimal results - Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing and attractive manner - Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety and sanitation guidelines - Order and maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies - Collaborate with other team members to develop new recipes and menu items - Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and taking special orders - Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations - Continuously strive to improve baking techniques and stay updated on industry trends Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Baker or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of baking techniques and methods - Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for developing new recipes - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Food safety and sanitation certification is a plus We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
