Job Description
As a Senior Accountant, you will be integral to our financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, adherence to regulations, and providing strategic insights to support our business growth. You will collaborate with various departments to enhance financial efficiency and contribute to the overall fiscal well-being of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records.
Update and manage financial databases and spreadsheets regularly.
Conduct account reconciliations, including bank statements, and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist in creating budgets and financial forecasts.
Analyse financial data to generate reports on financial status, performance, and trends.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Offer financial guidance and policy support to other departments.
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting and /or Finance.
Professional certification is compulsory: Chartered Accountant (CA), CMA, or ACCA.
5-7 years of relevant professional accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Sufficient understanding of financial regulations and standards.
