Role Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring

accurate record-keeping, compliance with regulations, and supporting financial decisionmaking. This role plays a key part in maintaining the company's financial health and

operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes

Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies

Handle VAT filings and statutory submissions (if applicable)

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation

Coordinate with other departments regarding financial matters

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

5–6 years of proven accounting experience

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Familiarity with Bahrain financial regulations is an advantage

High attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Good communication and organizational abilities
