Responsibilities

  1. Lead the post tendering QS team.
  2. Monitor the project budget and provide demand-driven advice to Project Management team on cost control, contract claims and negotiation.
  3. Review the valuation and variation claims and provide necessary advice to the QS team.
  4. Attend the claims and negotiation meetings.
  5. Reporting and forecasting of the costs to the management.
  6. Identify variance of actual v/s budgeted costs, find cause of variance and take corrective actions.
  7. Review the payment certificates in line with contract agreement and advice the Division management.
  8. Regular cost reporting and Monitoring.

Qualifications and skills

  1. Engineering Degree in Civil/ Quantity surveying.
  2. Minimum 10 years experience in post tender and cost control.
  3. Thorough understanding of the financial process used to achieve profitability, EVM & CVR.
  4. Strong communication skills and negotiation skills.
  5. Good analytical thinking and resource management skills.
  6. Good knowledge in applicable conditions of contract -FIDIC/JCT/MOW.
