Draftsman

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman with a strong background in

architectural and civil drafting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and capable

of producing precise technical drawings, including shop drawings, coordination layouts, and asbuilt

documentation. Experience in liaising with consultants and site teams for drawing updates

and approvals is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and detailed architectural and civil shop drawings based on design

specifications and site requirements.

Develop coordination drawings to ensure alignment between architectural, structural, and

MEP systems.

Generate as-built drawings based on final site execution and approved changes.

Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, local standards, and regulatory

requirements.

Revise drawings as per consultant feedback, design changes, and site conditions.

Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and other stakeholders to gather input and

ensure timely submission of drawings.

Maintain drawing logs, version control, and proper documentation for all project stages.

Support the project team by providing technical input related to drawings and details.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural and civil drafting, preferably within the

construction industry.

Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of other drafting software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp) is

an advantage.

Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.

Good understanding of construction drawings, building codes, and detailing standards.

Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings and translate them into detailed

shop drawings.

Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and site teams for drawing

approvals and updates.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
