Robotics Technician
About the job Robotics Technician
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial robotic systems (FANUC, ABB, or KUKA)
- Perform routine maintenance including lubrication, calibration, and component replacement on robotic arms
- Assist with robot programming including teach pendant operations and basic path programming
- Diagnose and resolve robotic system faults including mechanical, electrical, and software issues
- Integrate robotic systems with peripheral equipment such as conveyors, vision systems, and grippers
- Maintain safety systems and ensure compliance with robotic safety standards
Document robot programs, maintenance records, and process parameters
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical diploma in Robotics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation
- 0–2 years of experience working with industrial robots (academic projects or internships count)
- Basic knowledge of robot programming using teach pendants
- Understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and control logic
- Familiarity with robotic safety standards and guarding requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
