About the job Head of Sales
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition:
Engage and anchor clients to generate significant revenue and enhance our market presence, involve in contract and pricing negotiation, partnership development and driving sales revenue.
Product Implementation:
Successfully deploy NFC tags, ensuring a seamless integration with client operations and maximizing their value.
Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and validate a comprehensive sales playbook that outlines actionable strategies, best practices, and key selling points to empower the sales team.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on achieving sales targets.
Business and Sales Analysis:
Conduct thorough business research to identify potential opportunities and challenges in the MENA B2B SaaS landscape.
Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, product development, and operation support teams to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
Performance Reporting:
Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, utilizing data insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Former startup founder or early employee with a proven track record of success in B2B SaaS/tech sales, particularly in the MENA region, for a minimum of 10 years.
Strong connections in retail, FMCG or hospitality industries are an advantage.
Client Management:
Strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
Sales Expertise:
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing sales strategies that drive growth and revenue.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
Analytical Mindset:
Proficient in analyzing sales data and market trends to inform decisions and strategy.
Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team, fostering collaboration and achieving collective goals.
