Summary The Junior IT Administrator will support the day-to-day operations of the company's IT infrastructure. This includes assisting with network maintenance, basic server support, email setup, surveillance systems, and providing end-user technical support. The role is suited for a motivated individual who is eager to learn and grow within the IT function under guidance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for reporting, tracking, and documentation purposes.
Assist in maintaining company network systems including basic support for servers, routers, switches, and internet connectivity.
Support the setup and management of employee email accounts, user access, and permissions.
Assist in the installation and basic maintenance of CCTV, access control, and biometric systems.
Perform routine system checks including software updates, backups, and antivirus scans.
Provide first-level technical support to users for hardware, software, and printer issues.
Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or external vendors when required.
Maintain accurate IT documentation including asset tracking and basic system records.
Coordinate with vendors for basic IT requirements and follow up on support requests.
Assist in ensuring compliance with IT policies and basic system security practices.
Support periodic checks of IT systems to ensure smooth and reliable operations. Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
1–3 years of relevant IT support or administration experience.
Basic knowledge of network systems, Windows OS, and common IT tools.
Familiarity with email systems and basic IT security concepts.
Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in areas such as networking, servers, and security systems.
Good troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage tasks efficiently and follow instructions.
