OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE OF YOUR ROLE

Under the supervision of the Head of maintenance, you will carry out electromechanical maintenance across the facility and surrounding areas, with a primary focus on electrical systems (wave generator, power distribution, controls). You will also provide mechanical-fitter support and basic water-management assistance. The role includes routine facility maintenance to keep guest and back-of-house areas safe, reliable, and compliant.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform maintenance of the electrical components of Wavegarden generator systems, water system maintenance and water quality control.

Perform diagnostics & fault finding on power and control circuits; carry out safe isolation and restore service efficiently.

Perform facility electrical maintenance includes PPM and corrective maintenance on motors, VFDs, MCCs, LV systems, lighting, and control wiring, and troubleshoot all electrical and panel components using standard test equipment (multimeters, clamp meter, etc)

Assist on the electrical side of water assets: pump motors, dosing/control panels, level/flow sensors.

Perform basic mechanical tasks linked to electromechanical equipment (belts, couplings/gears, strainers/screens, simple bearing observations).

Coordinate with Operations, Aquatics/Lifeguards, and other departments to minimize downtime and guest impact.

Respond to and resolve electrical and electromechanical breakdowns quickly and effectively.

Ensure all tasks follow safe working practices and Bahrain Surf Park Safety Policies.

Ensure compliance with maintenance procedures, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

Report recurring defects, system anomalies, or equipment risks to HOD immediately.


Qualifications

.

Diploma or an equivalent vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

.

Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial environment as senior electrician/maintenance technician.

.

Experience in a water park, aquatic facility, resort, or leisure environment is an advantage. (Experience with Middle Eastern culture and working environment is a plus)

.

Strong knowledge of low and high voltage electrical systems with solid hands-on experience in light and heavy power systems and electromechanical operations.

Professional Skills Attributes

Basic administrative skills, and computer literacy.

Competent in using maintenance tools, machinery, and diagnostic equipment.

.

Able to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings.

.

Capable of working independently as well in team.

.

Good command of English (Arabic is an advantage).
