About the job Electronic Technician
Role Overview
The Electronic Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance,
troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems within vending machines. This role
ensures machines operate efficiently, reliably, and safely, supporting the company's
commitment to delivering high-quality vending solutions to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and servicing of vending machines, focusing on
electronic components
Diagnose and repair faults in circuit boards, wiring, sensors, motors, and control
systems
Install and configure payment systems (cashless, coin, and card readers)
Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend machine
lifespan
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure machines are deployed and
functioning correctly
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts usage, and service reports
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all technical
work
Provide technical support and training to junior staff or field operators when
required
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Proven experience as an electronic technician, preferably in vending machines or
similar automated equipment
Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, wiring, and diagnostic tools
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Familiarity with payment systems and embedded controllers is an advantage
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to travel for on-site servicing and installations
