Role Overview:
The marketing Manager will lead marketing efforts by building a strong, engaging brand across social media, digital platforms, and the sports community. The ideal candidate is both creative and strategic. Someone who understands how to tell stories, grow audiences, and create impactful collaborations that strengthen Malaebs presence in the sports and lifestyle space.
You will oversee social media management, content creation, events and partnerships, ensuring the brand consistently connects with its audience and community.
Responsibilities:
. Brand & Social Media
- Develop and manage social media strategy across all platforms
(Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, etc)
- Oversee daily content planning, publishing and community engagement.
- Maintain brand consistency in tone, visuals and storytelling.
- Monitor trends, engagement metrics and audience sentiment to guide strategy.
. Content Creation
- Lead content calendars, campaigns, and storytelling initiatives showcasing
Malaebs players, venues, and experiences.
- Oversee production of photos, videos, and written content. Coordinating with
creators, photographers, and agencies.
- Develop creative briefs and manage content execution to align with brand values
and objectives.
. Events & Collaborations
- Plan and execute marketing activations, tournaments, and community events that
promote Malaebs brand and drive engagement.
- Build partnerships with sports brands, influencers, and organizations to create
joint campaigns and experiences.
- Coordinate PR activities, press coverage, and influencer collaborations to
maximize visibility.
. Strategy & Coordination
- Align marketing initiatives with company goals, ensuring consistency across
digital, offline and partner channels.
- Manage marketing budgets, timelines and resources.
- Collaborate with operations and partnerships teams to support campaigns,
launches and events.
. Team & Agency Management
- Supervise internal marketing staff, freelancers, and external creative agencies.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous
improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
. Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or a related field.
. 4 - 6 years of experience in marketing, preferably in sports, lifestyle or consumer brands.
. Skilled at managing agencies, creators and partnerships.
