Position: Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting cost analysis and preparing estimates for construction projects

- Evaluating and negotiating project contracts and subcontracts

- Monitoring project costs and ensuring adherence to budget

- Identifying potential cost savings and providing recommendations

- Preparing and submitting progress reports to project stakeholders

- Collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure project success

- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

- Conducting site visits and inspections to assess progress and identify any potential issues

- Managing and maintaining project documentation and records

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a contracting group

- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proficient in cost estimation and budget management

- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction software programs
