Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning according to recipes.
  • Assist chefs in cooking, seasoning, and plating dishes as instructed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, kitchen equipment, and utensils.
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients and food items.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Assist in inventory management and report shortages or damages to the supervisor.
  • Support senior kitchen staff during busy service periods.
  • Handle kitchen tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Participate in the preparation of daily specials and menu items.
  • Adhere to hotel policies, grooming standards, and kitchen safety regulations.

Qualifications Required:

  • High school education or equivalent; Diploma in Culinary Arts preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Commis or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work under supervision.
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long hours.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Professional grooming and adherence to hotel standards.

Salary : BD 350/- for 9 Hrs Shift including Meal Break
