Security Guard

DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a vigilant and customer-focused Shop Security Guard to help prevent theft, protect store assets, and maintain a safe and welcoming shopping environment. The Security Guard will monitor store activity, deter shoplifting, and assist staff and customers while enforcing store policies.

REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous retail security or loss prevention experience preferred. Strong observation and communication skills. Ability to stay calm and professional in difficult situations. Physically able to stand and walk for long periods.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor store floors, entrances, and exits to prevent theft and suspicious behavior. Observe customers and staff for signs of shoplifting or fraud. Conduct regular patrols of the store and surrounding areas. Respond to incidents such as theft, disturbances, or emergencies. Apprehend shoplifters according to company procedures (if authorized). Prepare clear and accurate incident and daily reports. Work closely with store management and staff to improve loss prevention. Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers when needed. Ensure safety rules and store policies are followed.
