About the job Kitchen Helper
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Ensure proper storage of food items, maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing kitchen supplies and deliveries.
- Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain cleanliness of garbage areas.
- Ensure compliance with hotel standards for hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Support the kitchen team during busy meal periods by carrying out assigned tasks promptly.
- Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Follow all hotel policies, grooming standards, and safety regulations.
Qualifications Required:
- High school equivalent. (Male Staff)
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Helper, Steward, or similar role preferred (but not mandatory).
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long hours and perform manual tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Professional grooming and personal hygiene in line with hotel standards.
Salary : BD 350/-for 9 Hrs Shift including Meal Break
