Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
  • Ensure proper storage of food items, maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
  • Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing kitchen supplies and deliveries.
  • Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain cleanliness of garbage areas.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel standards for hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor immediately.
  • Support the kitchen team during busy meal periods by carrying out assigned tasks promptly.
  • Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Follow all hotel policies, grooming standards, and safety regulations.

Qualifications Required:

  • High school equivalent. (Male Staff)
  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Helper, Steward, or similar role preferred (but not mandatory).
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long hours and perform manual tasks.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Professional grooming and personal hygiene in line with hotel standards.

Salary : BD 350/-for 9 Hrs Shift including Meal Break
