Compliance Officer

Job Purpose

The Graduate Compliance Officer will support the compliance team in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and reviewing compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of compliance documentation and reports.
• Conduct basic research on regulatory updates and summarize findings for compliance officers.
• Help with transaction monitoring and flagging potential suspicious activities for review.
• Participate in internal audits and compliance testing under supervision.
• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and assist in filing regulatory reports.
• Provide administrative support for compliance projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely resolution of compliance-related queries.
• Other tasks and responsibilities assigned from time-to-time.

Areas of Knowledge, Qualification and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Law, or related field.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Familiarity with compliance principles and regulatory frameworks (CBB).
• CAMS or ACAMS certification preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
