Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate injection molding, assembly, and packaging machines according to standard procedures
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to maintain product quality and cycle times
• Perform first-piece inspections and routine quality checks using gauges and visual standards
• Load raw materials, change over tooling, and prepare machines for different product runs
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality defects, and safety hazards
• Complete production logs, quality records, and downtime documentation accurately

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation following 5S principles

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
• Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures and work instructions
• Basic math skills for production counting and quality measurements
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs
