IT Technician

Position: IT Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Technician to join our team at a school. As the IT Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting all computer systems, networks, and technology equipment in the school. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of technology in the school, supporting both students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform regular maintenance and updates on all computer systems and networks

- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise

- Install and configure software and hardware

- Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions

- Provide technical support to students and staff

- Ensure all technology equipment is in good working condition

- Keep track of inventory and make recommendations for new purchases

- Collaborate with other IT staff to implement new technology initiatives

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role

- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Good communication and customer service skills
