Position Summary

The Data Entry Clerk is a key role in our organization and will be based in Osborne Park, WA. Your responsibilities will include building reports, KPI tracking, heavy data entry, work closely with financiers, sales, payroll, and project managers.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to commute to Osborne Park, WA daily
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Data entry experience or related office experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel & Google Sheets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work individually as well as in a group setting

Job duties:

  • Maintains database by entering new and updated customer/contractor and account information.
  • Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information.
  • Establishes entry priorities.
  • Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies.
  • Resolves deficiencies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
  • Enters customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on the keyboard or optical scanner according to screen format.
  • Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
  • Verifies entered customer/contract and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
  • Combines data from multiple systems when account information is incomplete.
  • Purges files to eliminate duplication of data.
  • Tests customer and account system changes and upgrades by inputting new data.
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
  • Maintains and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned
