About the job Application Support Engineer


We are looking for talented Application support engineers who can help us provide support for internal microservices and applications that will drive our growing business.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-demand support to internal clients for critical business flows
  • Take ownership of issues reported and see problems through to resolution
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve system issues
  • Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions
  • If possible, issue code fixes to the issues encountered
  • Ensure all issues are properly logged and communicate the statuses
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports and document technical knowledge in the form of notes, SOPs, and manuals

Qualifications

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Strong experience with MySQL including complex queries involving joins and subqueries
  • Hands-on experience with at least one of Go, Ruby (RoR), Java, Node.js, Python, or PHP
  • Ability to write automation scripts and maintain them
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong ability and eagerness to quickly learn new technologies
  • Good understanding of common design patterns and best practices around security and performance
  • Passion for code quality and attention to detail
  • Degree in computer science or information technology.
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Must be Saudi National.
  • Must be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
  • Must have from 2 to 4 experience in IT
