About the job IT Technical Manager

We are looking for IT Technical Manager to drive IT operations services and service desk across the group to excellence

  • Key Duties:
  • Day-to-day management of IT operations technical team, develop their skills and build internal collaboration.
  • Hold responsible for IT infrastructure, such as servers, switches, firewalls, UPS, IP telephony, access controls, …etc
  • Fully manage and monitor cloud infrastructure on Azure for the entire group.
  • Ensure service reliability, availability, and serviceability (RAS).
  • Work hand by hand with service desk, application and security teams to deliver best IT service.
  • Build and apply standards across group business units and follow unified IT procedures.
  • Manage network staff and handle all aspects of networking such as switches, routers, firewalls, access points, site
  • to site connections, MPLS, vpn connections, internet services, … etc
  • Control on-prem/cloud servers processes from provisioning, maintaining, securing, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Ensure technical team are following best practices in servers management such as OS updates, security patches,
  • backups, disaster recovery, and mitigating possible risks.
  • Design and ensure resource performance to meet SLA’s.
  • Define, measure, and meet IT infrastructure metrics.
  • Monitor services and proactively act on incidents or risk identified.
  • Submit periodical performance report to the management.
  • Improve cloud infrastructure cost by continuously monitor and optimise resources allocation.
  • Maintain infrastructure and applications documentations.
  • Participate in IT budget planning.
  • Adopt and monitor the NOC system.
  • Implement new IT processes and procedures as per group strategy and act as a leader to drive the change.
  • Key Skills:
  • 5+ years' experience in managing infrastructure team.
  • Full understanding of network design, data center operations, and ITIL practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Emotional intelligent with excellent leadership ability and team spirit.
  • Responsibilities:
  • IT Infrastructure Plan, design and maintain old all aspects of on premise and cloud infrastructure.
  • Cloud Services Management Maintain cloud services and monitor availability, consumption, and performance.
  • Reporting Provide regular verbal and written reports to management for service availability, performance, and incidents.
  • Service improvement Perform quality controls and monitor service performance with continual service processes development
