Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Thailand)

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the software products, designing and implementing effective testing strategies, conducting thorough test cases, and identifying and reporting any defects or issues. Expertise in test automation, test planning, and test execution will be essential to maintaining high standards of quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and implements comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
• Conducts functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure the reliability and stability of software products.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand project requirements and provide input on testability and quality.
• Designs and develops automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Executes manual and automated tests, analyzes test results, and identifies and reports any defects or issues.
• Participates in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Improves testing processes and methodologies continuously to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentors and provides guidance to junior QA team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
• Stays updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in quality assurance practices.

Qualifications

• A graduate of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or any related field.
• With at least two to four (2-4) years of proven experience in software quality assurance, software development, or as a QA Engineer with a focus on software testing and quality.
• Must have experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Must have hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing as well as automated testing tools.
• Preferably with experience and certification in Scrum and/or Agile Product Ownership.
• Preferably with experience in performance and/or security testing.
• Possess superior communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, developers, and software vendors.
• Possess high-level analytical skills and a strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficient in project management and MS Office applications.
• Must be a permanent resident of Thailand.
