IT Specialist

Jonesbororealtycompany, a leading real estate company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As the IT Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's technological systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including servers, network devices, and workstations

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner

- Perform regular system backups and ensure data security and integrity

- Monitor system performance and make necessary upgrades to optimize efficiency

- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement new technologies to improve business operations

- Provide technical support and training to employees on various software and hardware systems

- Manage user accounts and permissions to ensure data security

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to make recommendations for system upgrades and improvements

- Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and data security

- Assist with procurement of new hardware and software as needed

- Maintain inventory of all IT equipment and software licenses

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of network and server administration, including Windows and Linux operating systems

- Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business software applications

- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to solve complex technical issues

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly

- Knowledge of data security and backup procedures

- Experience with project management and IT budgeting is a plus
