IT SPECIALIST

Position: IT Specialist

Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking an experienced and motivated IT Specialist to join our team. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our company's computer systems and networks. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install and configure computer hardware, software, and peripherals

- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely resolution

- Maintain and monitor computer networks and systems to ensure maximum performance and availability

- Perform regular data backups and disaster recovery procedures

- Manage user accounts and permissions

- Monitor network security and implement necessary updates and protocols

- Keep up-to-date with new technology and make recommendations for improvement

- Provide technical support and training to staff members

- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs

- Create and maintain documentation of IT processes and procedures

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role

- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications

- Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues

- Knowledge of security protocols and best practices

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are a plus
