Position: Logistics & Supply Chain Manager (FMCG)
The Logistics & Supply Chain Manager oversees and manages the entire flow of goods from suppliers to customers. Responsibilities include:
- Planning and optimizing procurement, inventory, and transportation operations
- Managing suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners
- Ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency
- Implementing supply chain strategies and demand forecasting
- Overseeing warehouse operations and distribution centers
- Reducing operational costs while improving delivery speed and accuracy
- Developing KPIs and improving workflow processes
- Ensuring compliance with UAE customs, trade laws, and safety regulations
- Leading a team in logistics, warehouse, and procurement functions
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Masters preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or procurement, preferably in high-volume or international operations.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory control, demand forecasting, and vendor management.
- Experience in import/export documentation, customs regulations, and international shipping procedures.
- Proficiency in supply chain software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize processes and reduce costs.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
- Ability to lead and supervise cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of UAE logistics regulations and industry standards is an advantage.
