Position Overview

The General Manager (GM) of will lead the strategy, operations, and growth of the Groups online purchasing application platform in Cambodia. This role is responsible for driving business performance, building partnerships, leading digital innovation, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The GM will oversee all aspects of the business, including commercial, marketing, technology, operations, and customer experience, to position Young Sia Purchase as a leading e-commerce platform in the Cambodian market.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement the overall business strategy for Young Sia Purchase.
  • Define growth objectives, revenue targets, and long-term vision of the platform.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, market trends, and digital innovations.

Business & Operations Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the online purchasing platform, ensuring smooth functionality and scalability.
  • Lead cross-functional teams (technology, marketing, customer service, logistics, finance) to deliver business goals.
  • Drive operational efficiency, quality service, and user satisfaction.

Sales & Marketing Growth

  • Develop and execute customer acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Oversee digital marketing, brand positioning, and promotional campaigns.
  • Build partnerships with merchants, vendors, and service providers to expand product offerings.
  • Ensure competitive pricing, attractive promotions, and customer engagement.

Technology & Innovation

  • Collaborate with the tech team to enhance app features, user interface, and overall digital experience.
  • Drive innovation in digital solutions, payment systems, and delivery models.
  • Ensure platform reliability, data security, and continuous improvement.

Financial & Performance Management

  • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial targets.
  • Monitor revenue, costs, and profitability of the business unit.
  • Report business performance and key KPIs to the Group CEO/Board.

People Leadership & Culture

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer-first mindset.
  • Build organizational capability to support business growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 8-10 years of leadership experience in e-commerce, retail, digital platforms, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of online purchasing platforms, consumer behavior, and digital ecosystems.
  • Proven track record in business development, operations, and P&L management.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Growth in active users and customer retention rate.
  • Sales revenue and market share in the Cambodian e-commerce sector.
  • Merchant/vendor acquisition and partnership expansion.
  • Platform performance (app functionality, uptime, and user satisfaction).
  • Profitability and achievement of financial targets.
  • Employee engagement and team performance.

Salary

Negotiable

Working Hours

Working Time: 8:00am - 12:00pm; 01:30pm - 5:30pm
Working Day: Monday ~ Friday & Saturday (half)
