Position Overview

The Operations Manager will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Logistics Business Unit, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality service delivery. This role is responsible for managing transportation, freight forwarding, warehousing, and customs clearance operations, while ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining customer satisfaction. The Operations Manager will play a key role in optimizing processes, improving productivity, and supporting the growth of the logistics business in Cambodia.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily logistics operations including transportation, freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient service delivery to customers.
  • Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and continuously improve operational processes.
  • Monitor KPIs related to delivery time, service quality, and operational efficiency.

Customer Service & Relationship Management

  • Ensure excellent customer service by resolving operational issues promptly.
  • Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to meet client expectations.
  • Develop strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and service providers.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, supervise, and train the operations team to ensure high performance.
  • Allocate tasks effectively and monitor staff performance.
  • Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with Cambodian laws, customs regulations, and international logistics standards.
  • Oversee safety, security, and quality assurance in operations.
  • Identify risks in operations and implement measures to mitigate them.

Cost & Efficiency Management

  • Manage operational budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Negotiate with vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce operational costs while maintaining service quality.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Provide regular reports on operational performance, challenges, and improvements.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Sales Manager to align operations with business strategy.
  • Support strategic projects such as digital transformation, process automation, and expansion.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations, with 3+ years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of Cambodian logistics industry, customs processes, and international shipping standards.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in logistics management systems, MS Office, and digital tools.
  • Fluent in Khmer and English (Chinese is an advantage).

  • Operational cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Negotiable

Working Hours

Working Time: 8:00am - 12:00pm; 01:30pm - 5:30pm
Working Day: Monday ~ Friday & Saturday (half)
