Position: Heavy Equipment Assessor (Contracting)
Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia
Reports to: Certification Unit Administrator
Job Purpose:To conduct Performance Assessments of Contractor's Staff as part of a pre-screening process for working on company's projects.
The HE Assessor is responsible for the development, implementation, reporting and analysis of all certifications as assigned. Working as part of the Certification Team the HE Assessor will ensure that the written/performance sections of the certifications are developed and maintained
as per the company policy for the following disciplines; Rigging, Crane Operator and Heavy Equipment Operator (Backhoe- Bulldozer- Forklift- Grader- Wheel loader- Skid loader- Backhoeloader- Sideboom Telehandler etc)
Functional Duties:
1. Perform the following assessments to make sure about the operator's
competency:
- Heavy Equipment assessment (Backhoe- Bulldozer- Forklift- Grader- Wheel loader-
Skid loader- Backhoe loader- Sideboom Telehandler etc).
- Crane assessment.
- Rigger assessment.
2. Assist to develop written and practical assessments in their field of expertise.
3. Ensure that all assessments are completed efficiently and professionally.
4. Complete the analysis of all assessments.
5. Take on Mentoring responsibilities as required.
6. Assist with QA Audits.
7. Assist with Policy and Procedural reviews and development.
8. Uphold the EnergyTech HE Certifications Unit Policy.
Academic and Professional (Minimum):
-Technical qualifications or diploma in the relevant craft/subject.
Certified in specific area of expertise:
- Heavy Equipment (Backhoe- Bulldozer- Forklift- Wheel loader- Backhoe loader- etc).
- Cranes and/or Rigging.
- Fluent in English. (Reading/Writing)
- Knowledge Microsoft Office Programs to intermediate level.
Academic and Professional (Preferred):
- Assessor Award Qualification by Awarding Body
Professional Experience (minimum):
- Minimum of 5 years Industrial experience of specific role.
- 3 years of experience as instructor/teacher.
- 3 years of experience in assessing/assessment role.
- Knowledge of Training/Assessment development would be an advantage.

Salary: 9,000 SAR
