Job Title: French Teacher – Virtual Assistant (VA)

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and engaging French Teacher (Virtual Assistant) to deliver online French language instruction and provide academic support to students of various levels. The role involves lesson planning, virtual teaching, student assessment, and learning progress tracking in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct online French language classes (Beginner to Advanced levels)

• Prepare and deliver structured lesson plans aligned with student goals

• Teach French grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, and conversation

• Provide one-on-one or group virtual tutoring sessions

• Assess students progress through quizzes, assignments, and oral evaluations

• Customize lessons based on learners age, level, and objectives

• Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and performance reports

• Support exam preparation (DELF/DALF or school curriculum), if required

• Communicate regularly with students and/or parents regarding progress

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a French Teacher or Language Tutor

• Fluency in French (native or near-native level preferred)

• Strong command of English for instruction and communication

• Teaching certification or degree in French, Education, or related field is an advantage

• Experience in online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, LMS tools)

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Reliable internet connection and suitable home teaching setup

Working Conditions

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience teaching children, teenagers, or adult learners

• Knowledge of international curricula or language proficiency exams

• Previous experience working as a Virtual Assistant or Online Tutor
