Position: Quality Control Supervisor 

Overview

Responsible for ensuring high product quality and managing end-to-end garment production projects from sampling to final shipment. Oversee quality standards, workflow timelines, and coordination between production teams and buyers.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control

  • Monitor garment quality at all stages: cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing.
  • Conduct in-line and final inspections based on buyer specifications and AQL standards. (Usually AQL 1.5/2.5)
  • Identify defects, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Review samples, fabrics, trims, and ensure technical accuracy.
  • Maintain QC reports and inspection records, ensuring compliance with buyer requirements.
  • Train production staff in quality procedures and best practices.

Project Management

  • Resolve production delays and provide weekly progress updates.
  • Work with factory Merchandisers on weekly WIP reports.

Technical & Compliance

  • Interpret tech packs, measurement charts, construction details and packing details, to review with factory Production team.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and labeling standards.
  • Support factory audits and improve QC/production SOPs.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience in garment manufacturing (QC/Production/Project Management).
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, production flow, and QA standards.
  • Familiarity with AQL inspections and factory compliance.
  • Knowledge of Walmart, Target and/or Hanes quality and packing standards.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; MS Teams, Outlook and Zoom.
  • Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
