Position: Executive Chef

Report to: General Manager

Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and manage kitchen staff
  • Involve with employee roaster, staff appraisal
  • Provide Training plan to all Kitchen team
  • Involve with daily meeting for each respective kitchen
  • Exceptional leadership skills, communication, including motivation and goal-setting
  • Strong skills in food preparation and flavor pairings
  • Ability to develop new recipes, improve existing one
  • Deal and select food supplier / negotiate prices
  • Keep knowledge of new trends in the F&B industry
  • Time management and organization
  • Modifying menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
  • Control and analyze departmental costs to meet budget forecast
  • Doing admin duties includes food costing
  • Involve with equipment purchases and repairs
  • Assist with food ordering process and inventory
  • Comply safety standard and ensure HACCAP guidelines are achieved and maintained
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-worker
  • Communicate closely with the F&B Manager regarding guest feedback
  • Meet the guest if any food complains, or for special food request
  • Involve with kitchen set-up / equipment order, during new outlet pre-opening

Working Hours:

  • Mon - Fri: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm (1 and half hour break)
  • Sat : 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • Flexible based on the management requirement

Salary:
