The Boutique Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the store, leading the sales team, driving commercial performance, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced and highly secure international airport environment.
Team Leadership & Staff Coordination
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the sales team in line with brand standards and company policies.
- Organize work schedules, delegate tasks, and ensure smooth shift operations.
- Onboard and train new team members (sales techniques, procedures, security rules, etc.).
- Act as the operational link between the sales team and the Store Manager.
Sales Performance Monitoring
- Monitor daily sales, average basket size, and conversion rate.
- Support the achievement of individual and collective sales targets.
- Analyze performance metrics and suggest action plans to improve results.
- Share market and customer feedback with management.
Customer Experience & Service Excellence
- Ensure every customer receives a warm, personalized, and professional service.
- Manage difficult situations or customer complaints with diplomacy and efficiency.
- Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor to support and guide the team.
Cash Operations & Compliance
- Supervise cash handling, refunds, and exceptional transactions.
- Ensure compliance with duty-free, VAT refund, and foreign exchange procedures.
- Enforce airport security and safety regulations (badge access, conduct, restricted areas).
Merchandising & Stock Management
- Oversee product replenishment, visual merchandising, and correct product display.
- Support inventory counts and ensure stock accuracy.
- Ensure the boutique is clean, organized, and visually aligned with brand guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in sales, retail, or management
- 2-3 years of experience in sales and/or team supervision
- Previous experience in airport retail, duty-free, or luxury sales is a strong plus
- Fluent English is mandatory; at least additional languages (French, Chinese, Korean,etc.) with level degree.
- Strong sales and team supervision abilities
- Familiarity with POS systems and sales KPIs
- Experience in stock, shift, and basic reporting management
- Hands-on leadership and team motivation
- Reliability, adaptability, and diplomacy
- Strong sense of service and customer orientation in a multicultural environment
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Shift-based work schedule (early mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays).
- Standing for extended periods.
- Work under airport security supervision.
- Daily interaction with international and demanding customers
Salary: $500 - $750
Location: Phnom-Penh at TIA Techo International Airport (Cambodia)
Contract type: Permanent
