Accounting Manager (Retail Hospitality)

Position: Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager leads all accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with Cambodian tax regulations and international accounting standards. This role supervises the accounting team and supports financial audits and analysis.

Accounting Operations & Controls
- Supervise general ledger, accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closings in accordance with IFRS/local GAAP.
- Review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and analytical reviews.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations (VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax).
- Coordinate annual audits with external auditors.

Team Supervision & Process Improvement
- Lead and mentor the accounting team.
- Define procedures, checklists, and internal controls for financial accuracy.
- Propose automation or ERP improvements to increase accounting efficiency.

Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with finance, procurement, and HR for cost control and reportProvide data for budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and internal reporting needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- 5+ years in accounting, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
- Knowledge of Cambodian tax legislation and IFRS.
- Fluent in English and Khmer.

Salary: $1200 - $2200
