Position: Event Organizer/Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Event Planning and Coordination:
o Develop and manage event plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource
allocation.
o Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, offering
recommendations and solutions.
o Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure all event
requirements are met.
o Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and guests.
2. Catering Management:
o Design and customize catering menus in collaboration with chefs and culinary staff, catering to diverse dietary preferences and requirements.
o Manage catering operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service, ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene.
o Oversee the ordering and procurement of food and beverage supplies, maintaining inventory and cost control.
3. Client Relations:
o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning and
execution process.
o Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
o Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat
business and referrals.
4. Team Leadership:
o Lead, train, and motivate a team of event coordinators, catering staff, and support personnel.
o Assign tasks, set performance goals, and provide ongoing feedback to team
members.
o Ensure staff adhere to company policies and standards of service.
5. Administrative Duties:
o Prepare and manage event contracts, invoices, and other documentation.
o Monitor and report on event and catering performance, identifying areas for
improvement.
o Maintain accurate records of events, catering services, and client interactions.


Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in event management and catering, with a proven track record of successful events.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday (8:30 am to 5:30 pm)
  • Saturday (8:30 am to 12:30 pm)

Salary:

$600 - $1000
