Job Title: Accounting Manager Food and Beverage Industry

Location: Phnom Penh
Reports to: General Manager / CEO

Job Summary:

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations within the food and beverage business. This includes managing the day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, preparing financial reports, monitoring budgets, and providing financial analysis to support decision-making. The role requires a deep understanding of the food and beverage industry, cost control, inventory management, and profitability analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management:

    • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
    • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with department heads.
  2. Financial Reporting:

    • Prepare financial reports and present findings to senior management for decision-making.
    • Provide variance analysis between actual and budgeted results, offering insights into key drivers of profitability.
  3. Compliance and Audit:

    • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and internal accounting policies.
    • Lead internal and external audit processes, coordinating with auditors and providing necessary documentation.
    • Maintain accurate records for all transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  4. Cash Flow Management:

    • Oversee cash flow management to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.
    • Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
    • Monitor working capital and advise management on opportunities for improvement.
  5. System Management:

    • Maintain and optimize accounting software systems and ensure the accurate recording of all transactions.
    • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes through automation and system enhancements

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounting
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage cost accounting, inventory management, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards .
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm)
