Position: Finance Manager
Report to: Board of Directors

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support business plans.
- Perform variance analysis on data areas of the business, including product profitability, sales trends, pricing strategy, cost structure etc.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, semester, and yearly financial reports for management.
- Work closely with Supply Chain for analyzing and optimizing cost structures by identifying areas of cost savings, evaluating vendor pricing, and negotiating with suppliers.
2. Financial Policies and Procedures
- Reviewing current financial policies and procedures to identify areas of improvement and potential gaps.
- Identifying financial risks such as inaccurate financial reporting, fraud, or unauthorized transactions.
- Developing new policies and procedures
- Communicating policies and procedures for implementing the policies.
- Ensuring compliance process for monitoring and reporting adherence to policies should be established.
- Continuously reviewing policies and procedures
3. Budgeting and Forecasting
- Develop annual and long-term budgets.
- Review and analyze actual monthly financial results against budget.Develop rolling forecasts to aid decision-making.
- Analyze potential risks and opportunities for the business.
- Work in collaboration with other departments across the organization to ensure budgetary control and compliance.
- Revenue forecasting - developing a detailed financial projection of revenue including the impact of price adjustments, discounts, and quantity changes.
- Cost Analysis - scrutinize the costs incurred in the past, providing an understanding of how current costs are likely to continue in the future.
4. Financial Operations
- Manage the company's accounting and financial operations.
- Ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Develop financial performance metrics that allow for the measurement of the company's financial health.
- Manage the company's cash flow and forecasting.
- Ensuring orderly bookkeeping, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, analyzing ledgers, and managing period-end closing activities
- Monitor and control expenses.
- Process and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Generate financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, AR / AP aging, and other management reports.
5. Compliance and Regulatory Reporting
- Ensure compliance with all financial and tax regulations.
- Stay up to date with emerging regulations and develop an action plan for implementing changes required.
- Conduct internal audits at regular intervals to ensure that the business is on track regarding compliance with regulations.
- Manage the preparation and filing of all tax returns.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
- Educate employees on the policies, procedures and regulatory requirements and areas of potential risk and conduct awareness sessions for employees to ensure compliance.
- Liaise with external auditors for annual audits.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data provided to external regulators concerning all applicable regulations and compliance.
6. Leadership and Development
- Lead and motivate the team. Be responsible for talent acquisition, personnel matters, training, development, and mentorship.
- Establish an environment that fosters continuous learning and development of their team by providing staff with clear goals and expectations.
- Develop team members' skills and capabilities.
- Foster a culture of high performance and accountability.
7. Any other tasks that may be assigned by the Managing Director and Management from time to time.
Qualifications/Experiences:
1. Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or business management or related
2. 10 years of direct experience in finance, accounting, or audit
3. Experience in FMCG or Manufacturing is top priority.
4. Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CFA will be an added advantage.
5. Technological and business acumen

2. A strong functional expertise of accounting principles, financial regulations, best practice of financial reporting standard, tax regulation, and compliance issues.
3. Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire the finance team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
4. Great ability to identify and prioritize key performance drivers.
5. Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate financial data and insights to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and easily understandable manner
6. Strong computer skills with knowledge of ERP and financial software
7. Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax compliance requirements, and auditing practices
Key Metrics for Success
1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Forecast Accuracy: Measure the accuracy of financial forecasts compared to actual results.
- Variance Analysis Efficiency: Assess how quickly variance analyses are performed.
- Cost Optimization: Track and report cost savings and vendor pricing improvements.

- Policy Implementation Rate: Measure the rate at which new policies and procedures are successfully implemented.

- Policy Review Frequency: Monitor how often policies and procedures are reviewed and updated.

- Budget Accuracy: Measure the accuracy of budgeted financial figures compared to actual results.
- Forecasting Turnaround Time: Track how quickly rolling forecasts are generated.
- Collaboration Efficiency: Assess the efficiency of cross-departmental collaboration for budgetary control.
4. Financial Operations:
- Financial Transaction Accuracy: Measure the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions.
- Cash Flow Health: Monitor cash flow health, including working capital and cash flow forecasting.
- Financial Reporting Efficiency: Assess the efficiency of financial reporting and close activities.
- Expense Management: Track and report on expense control measures.
- Accounts Receivable/Payable Aging: Monitor the aging of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
5. Compliance and Regulatory Reporting:
- Compliance Rate: Measure the extent to which the organization complies with financial and tax regulations.
- Regulatory Update Implementation: Track how quickly emerging regulations are implemented.
- Audit Efficiency: Assess the efficiency and accuracy of internal and external audits.
- Tax Return Filing Timeliness: Measure the timeliness of tax return preparation and filing.
6. Leadership and Development:
- Team Development: Evaluate the development of team members' skills and capabilities.
- Talent Acquisition Success: Measure the success of talent acquisition efforts.
- Employee Engagement: Assess employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Performance Improvement: Evaluate the impact of leadership on fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
Working Hours:
- 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Mon-Fri)
