Role Summary
The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and expanding the company's facility management portfolio. This role focuses on securing contracts for services such as maintenance, cleaning, security, and property operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in commercial, residential, and industrial sectors
- Generate leads through networking, cold calls, referrals, and market research
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and service solutions to clients
- Conduct site visits to assess client needs and recommend facility management services
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet revenue targets
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients for retention and upselling
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and pricing strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- 2–5+ years experience in business development, sales, or facility/property management
- Strong understanding of facility management services (maintenance, security, cleaning, etc.)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
