Job Title: Accountant (Tourism)

Location: Siem Reap, Cambodia
Salary: USD $600 – $800/month
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the full set of accounting functions. The successful candidate will handle end-to-end financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full Set of Accounts

• Manage full accounting cycle: AP, AR, GL
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Record daily financial transactions

2. Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
• Handle month-end and year-end closing
• Provide financial analysis to management

3. Tax & Compliance

• Prepare and file VAT, withholding tax, and corporate tax
• Ensure compliance with Cambodian regulations
• Liaise with tax authorities

4. Payroll

• Process payroll and staff reimbursements
• Maintain proper employee financial records

5. Audit

• Assist in audits and prepare supporting documents
• Ensure proper internal controls and documentation

• Maintain accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)
• Improve accounting procedures and data accuracy

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–5 years experience in full set accounting
• Strong knowledge of Cambodian tax regulations
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
• Good English and Khmer communication skills
• High attention to detail and integrity
