Our client is a growing Australian homewares e-commerce retailer, offering curated home décor, kitchenware, and lifestyle products through platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, and eBay. With a strong focus on customer experience, smooth operations, and brand presentation, they are seeking a full-time Virtual Assistant – E-commerce Operations to support daily store management and online retail activities.

Role Overview

This is a fully remote, full-time role for a proactive E-commerce Virtual Assistant with experience supporting online retail operations. The successful candidate will assist with product management, order coordination, inventory monitoring, customer support, and overall store maintenance across multiple sales channels.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain product listings across Shopify, Amazon, eBay, and WooCommerce

- Monitor inventory levels and flag low-stock or out-of-stock items

- Assist with order processing, returns, and exchanges

- Respond to customer enquiries related to orders, products, and deliveries

- Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and fulfilment partners

- Assist with promotions, sales campaigns, and seasonal product launches

- Maintain product collections, categories, and merchandising layout

- Perform regular store checks to ensure listings, pricing, and images are accurate

- Support reporting on sales, inventory, and store performance

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 1 year experience as an E-commerce Virtual Assistant or in online retail operations

- Hands-on experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms

- Strong organisational and time management skills

- Excellent written communication skills

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Familiarity with online retail workflows and customer service processes
