Position Overview

The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the sales function of the Logistics Business Unit in Cambodia. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, developing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction in the logistics and supply chain market. The Sales Manager will develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets while building a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and revenue in logistics services (freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, customs clearance, etc.).
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in B2B and corporate sectors.
  • Build strong pipelines and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Research market trends, competitors, and customer needs to support business growth.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to ensure profitability.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve high performance.
  • Set clear targets, provide coaching, and monitor team progress.
  • Collaborate with operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Monitor sales performance, prepare forecasts, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Manage sales budgets, expenses, and profitability.
  • Ensure CRM systems and sales records are accurate and updated.

Market Expansion & Branding

  • Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry forums.
  • Support marketing activities to enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.
  • Contribute to the development of new logistics solutions tailored to client needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of Cambodian logistics market and customer landscape.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Leadership experience with ability to build and manage sales teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office applications.
  • Fluent in Khmer and English (Chinese is an advantage).

  • Revenue growth and achievement of sales targets.
  • Number of new clients acquired and retention of key accounts.
  • Sales pipeline strength and conversion rate.
  • Customer satisfaction and contract renewals.
  • Sales team performance and development.

Salary: $1200- $1800
