Executive Summary
The General Manager serves as the strategic and operational leader of Royal Fine Foods,responsible for driving business growth, profitability, and market leadership within Cambodia's premium food distribution sector. This role oversees full P&L management, leads cross- functional teams, and strengthens both global supplier partnerships and key domestic client relationships.
The GM plays a critical role in transforming the company into a highly efficient, scalable, and customer-centric organization while maintaining excellence in product quality, particularly in imported seafood and fine foods.
Core Leadership Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
- Define and execute the company's short- and long-term strategic roadmap
- Drive revenue growth, market expansion, and brand positioning in the premium F&B sector
- Identify new business channels (HORECA, retail, distribution partnerships, and institutional clients)
- Lead expansion initiatives, including new product lines and geographic growth
2. Full P&L Ownership & Financial Performance
- Take full accountability for profit and loss performance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Optimize cost structures, improve margins, and enhance cash flow management
- Implement financial discipline across departments to ensure sustainable profitability
3. Commercial Excellence & Key Account Management
- Personally manage and develop relationships with high-value clients (luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, key distributors)
- Lead pricing strategies aligned with market positioning and margin targets
- Oversee contract negotiations and ensure long-term commercial partnerships
- Drive customer retention through high service standards and tailored solutions
4. Global Sourcing & Supply Chain Leadership
- Strengthen and expand relationships with international suppliers (US, Europe, Norway, and regional markets)
- Lead procurement strategy to ensure consistent supply, competitive pricing, and premium quality
- Optimize logistics, warehousing, and cold chain management
- Reduce operational risks in import/export and inventory handling
5. Operational Excellence & Process Optimization
- Oversee end-to-end operations: procurement, warehousing, distribution, and delivery
- Implement systems and SOPs to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure product integrity
- Drive digitalization and process improvements where applicable
- Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards
6. Leadership, Culture & Organizational Development
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performance management team
- Set clear KPIs and performance expectations across all departments
- Lead organizational restructuring when necessary to support growth
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
7. Risk Management & Business Stability
- Proactively manage financial, operational, and supplier-related risks
- Ensure strong credit control and payment collection processes
- Maintain business continuity and operational resilience

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 7–10+ years of progressive leadership experience
- Proven track record in F&B, seafood import/distribution, or supply chain businesses
- Experience managing international suppliers and high-value clients
