Job Summary

We are looking for a Chinese Mandarin Teacher Virtual Assistant (VA) to provide high-quality online Mandarin lessons and learning support to students. The ideal candidate is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, passionate about teaching, and comfortable working in a fully remote setup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver online Mandarin Chinese lessons (Beginner to Advanced levels)

  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and interactive activities

  • Teach speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills

  • Support students with pronunciation and tone accuracy

  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

  • Customize lessons based on student goals (HSK, conversation, business Mandarin, etc.)

  • Manage class schedules and conduct sessions via online platforms

  • Communicate with students through chat, email, or learning systems

  • Maintain a professional and engaging virtual classroom environment

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Native or fluent Mandarin Chinese speaker

  • Teaching experience (online teaching preferred)

  • Mandarin teaching certification or relevant education is an advantage

  • Good English communication skills

  • Familiarity with online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, LMS platforms)

  • Stable internet connection and quiet teaching environment

  • Patient, engaging, and learner-focused teaching approach

Preferred Skills

  • Experience teaching non-native Mandarin learners

  • Knowledge of HSK exam preparation

  • Ability to create digital learning materials (PPTs, PDFs, worksheets)

  • Basic administrative or VA experience is a plus
