Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Sales with a strong background in FMCG to lead our retail and food service sales channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, managing key client relationships, and leading a team of sales professionals to achieve targets.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue and market share objectives in retail and food service channels.

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 10-15 sales managers/executives to ensure performance targets are met.

Identify new business opportunities and establish strong partnerships with key retail chains, distributors, and food service clients.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to adapt strategies effectively.

Drive execution of trade marketing initiatives, promotions, and channel programs to maximize product visibility and sales.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to secure long-term business growth.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align on business objectives.

Track, analyze, and report sales performance, ensuring corrective actions are implemented when necessary.

Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and contribute to business planning with the GM.

Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and effective resource allocation.
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field (MBA preferred).

57 years of progressive experience in sales management within the FMCG sector, with proven success in retail and food service channels.

Strong leadership experience in managing medium-sized sales teams (1015 members).

Solid track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and client relationship management skills.

Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Strong business acumen with a results-driven and hands-on approach.

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
