Part-Time Tax Accountant (Group of Companies)

Location: Skytech IT Park, Mabalacat City, Pampanga
Work Arrangement: Part-time, onsite
Contract Duration: 3 months
Compensation: Hourly rate, depending on experience

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Tax Accountant to handle BIR tax filings, support tax compliance requirements, and train our internal team on Philippine tax procedures. The successful candidate will help establish proper tax filing processes and equip our team with the knowledge to manage routine tax compliance moving forward.

This is a three-month engagement paid on an hourly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file applicable BIR tax returns and statutory tax forms within the required deadlines.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual tax compliance requirements.
• Review invoices, receipts, and supporting documents for tax filing purposes.
• Prepare tax computations and reconcile tax-related records.
• Train the internal team on BIR filing procedures, tax documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Develop simple procedures and checklists for recurring tax filing activities.
• Provide guidance on Philippine tax regulations and common BIR compliance matters.
• Organize and maintain proper tax records and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with management regarding filing schedules, compliance requirements, and outstanding tax matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, or a related field.
• Practical experience in Philippine tax compliance and BIR filing.
• Knowledge of BIR tax forms, filing deadlines, and electronic filing systems.
• Good attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
• Ability to explain tax procedures clearly and train team members with limited accounting experience.
• Willing to work part-time onsite at Skytech IT Park, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
