Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced DevOps/Cloud Engineer to support our decentralized application infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing cloud services, serverless architectures, and decentralized storage solutions like IPFS and Arweave. This role involves working closely with blockchain and backend teams to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable deployment of applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cloud infrastructure and services, primarily on AWS.
  • Provide support for AWS Lambda and other serverless frameworks.
  • Handle metadata storage, access, and versioning for decentralized applications.
  • Work with decentralized storage protocols like IPFS and Arweave for handling and serving metadata and digital assets.
  • Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools.
  • Monitor and maintain application uptime, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with developers to deploy and manage backend services and smart contract integrations.
  • Maintain documentation of infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with AWS services, especially Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, EC2, IAM, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Experience with IPFS and/or Arweave for decentralized file storage.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Node.js.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes (optional but preferred).
  • Experience in handling logs, alerts, and monitoring tools.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Web3 or blockchain-based application infrastructures.
  • Understanding of security best practices in cloud and DevOps environments.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git), REST APIs, and microservices architecture
