As an Outside Sales Representative, you will identify and contact, build relationships, and close sales deals with clients requiring janitorial services across the Mississauga and GTA area. You will primarily be selling to purchasing departments. This role is a newly created sales role to target small to medium-sized businesses. This newly created position will be reporting directly to the Sales Manager. The base Salary is $60,000 to $85,000 plus commissions.

OFFICE LOCATION & SALES TERRITORY:

  • Office- Mississauga, Ontario
  • Work from the office and on the road meeting clients
  • The sales territory is Mississauga and the GTA

EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-7 years of sales experience.
  • 2+ years of industry experience as an asset
  • Experience with RFPs would be a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Excel
  • PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Project
  • com, Proposify or other CRM software experience.

PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS / INDUSTRY FOCUS / DECISION-MAKER(S):

  • Small to medium-sized businesses in Mississauga and the GTA
  • You will be selling to purchasing departments/office managers.

TYPICAL DAY & DUTIES:

  • Prospecting, Cold Calling, and Networking
  • New Business Development, building relationships, and following up with clients
  • Preparing and delivering presentations and proposals to clients
  • Negotiating and closing sales deals
  • Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments
  • Collaborating with other team members to develop sales strategies and meet team goals
  • 10% Account Management and administrative duties for the first year

  • 90% Prospecting/Cold Calling, Networking
  • 10% Warm leads supplied.
