As a US Territory Sales Representative, you will be selling Patient lifts and ICU Boom equipment to hospitals, long-term care homes, retirement homes, and medical equipment distributors within an assigned region of the United States. You will be responsible for developing new business as well as strengthening existing customer relationships. This position includes a base salary of $50,000-$60,000 plus commission with the ability to earn $80,000 - $100,000+ in the first year.

- 25% travel to the U.S. post covid and meet US/Canadian travel requirements

THE POSITION
As a US Territory Sales Representative, you will be selling Patient lifts and ICU Boom Equipment to nurses, clinic owners, and contractors. You will be responsible for developing new business as well as strengthening existing customer relationships.
PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS
You will be selling custom Patient lifts and ICU Boom Equipment solutions to end-users including clinical staff, nursing directors, biomedical engineers, facilities engineers, clinic owners, architects, and contractors, etc. for both existing healthcare facilities as well as new construction projects in the North-East region of the United States.
PRODUCT & SALES CYCLE
- The average order value varies
- Closing cycles is approximately 12 weeks
TYPICAL DAY & DUTIES
- 60% prospecting and cold calling
- 40% presenting and closing
- Setting appointments, building relationships with healthcare facility staff
- After-sales upselling
- Promotion of custom healthcare equipment to clients (contractors, healthcare facilities, and owners)
- Management of client accounts
- Trade shows
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Base Salary $50,000-$60,000 based on experiance
- Bonuses-uncapped Commissions

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND
- 1-3 years of experience in inside/outside sales
- No industry experience is required
- Must be a Canadian Resident with a valid passport to travel into the US when required
- Must have a car and valid drivers license
EDUCATION
- Post-secondary, or professional experience equivalent.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- MS Office
- Presentation skills
- Google/search engines
- Familiarity with clinic software is an asset
