As an Outside Sales Representative, youll sell roofing, siding, and gutter restoration services directly to homeowners, property managers, real estate investors, and homeowner associations (HOAs) seeking residential or multi-family exterior restoration. Working within an assigned territory, this is a 100% new business development role involving daily door-to-door outreach to approximately 120150 homes per day. Approximately 50% of your sales will involve insurance claims, while the remaining 50% will be retail replacement or homeowner-initiated improvements.

Office Location & Sales Territory

  • Head Office: Carrollton, Texas
  • Sales Territory: Multiple territories available in both Dallas and Houston metro areas
  • Work Location: In-field daily with office check-ins as directed by the Sales Manager
  • Schedule: Monday to Saturday, with some evenings and weekends required
  • Field Hours: Approximately 10:00 AM 8:00 PM

Experience, Background & Personal Traits

  • No prior sales experience required comprehensive training is provided
  • Backgrounds in door-to-door sales (e.g., pest control, lawn care, telecom), retail, service industry (servers, bartenders), or education are considered strong assets
  • Must have a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle report (MVR)
  • Comfortable working outdoors in a range of weather conditions
  • Able to walk 15,000- 20,000 steps per day and occasionally carry 30- 50 lb ladders
  • Ability to climb a ladder to roof level (no requirement to walk on the roof)

Schedule & Daily Responsibilities

  • The typical working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with optional or occasionally required Saturday work from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, based on manager discretion.
  • During the first 90 days, new hires are expected to be in the office daily for training and development. After that, employees typically report to the office twice a week for role plays, ongoing training, and one-on-one meetings with their manager.
  • From 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, employees focus on adjuster appointments, project follow-ups, collecting checks, and ensuring crews are on site for roof installations.
  • From 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, employees are in the field conducting door-to-door outreach, focused on generating new business in their assigned territory.
  • Team members are expected to knock on 125 - 150 doors per day and aim for three to five sales.
